I went to college at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. It's an amazing school with wonderful people. I'm still so thankful that God lead me to go there. - Denise
Does POG write any of their own music/lyrics? If so, which songs?
I co-wrote on song on our second album called "the love he has for you", but besides that we haven't written any of our own songs. - Shelley
Not really. Shelley co-wrote a song on The Whole Truth called The Love He Has For You. We have dabbled in songwriting, but realized pretty soon that it wasn't a great gift of ours. I wrote a couple of songs with Marty from 4Him and one of them was recorded by Truth. It is called "Let Go". - Denise
not yet - Leigh
What does any POG song mean to you?
I have always loved the song "I have No Doubt". It seems like at every turn in our lives we have no idea where we are headed. I have read over and over again in the Bible that God will never leave me or forsake me. Sometimes my head tells me that, but my heart will doubt its truth. As I get older, I am realizing more and more how true it is and that I can trust him even when the road is so dark that I can't hardly see to put one foot in front of the other. I can't say that I always live my life like I believe it, but when I listen to that song; I'm reminded that it is true. - Denise
My favorite song has to be The Great Divide. It is such a beautiful and pictoral way to demonstrate the gospel. I can't tell you how many people have told me that this was the song that brought the gospel to life for them. - Shelley
Well, for me, it may be a little different... I remember hearing "Who am I" for the first time as an audience particapator... it is a question that at some point in our journey with the Lord, that we will or have already asked... Our humanity finds it very difficult to grab a hold of a concept so marvelous, but OH, is it ever true... Christ loves us so much that He sent Jesus to demonstrate that love... that is "who I am". - Leigh
Does POG read or answer any of their fan mail?
