    Well,

I'm actually sitting here at the boy's school running the nurse's clinic. Ha ha, how funny is that? They actually trust me to do that kind of thing. It's really not that hard, just hand out a few band aids, take a temperature or two, call moms, etc. These last 4 weeks have been the busiest I've been in a long time. Peru was amazing! I hope you've looked on the website to see some pics from there. The CMA radio remotes were fun too.

I'm finally starting to concentrate on our Christmas music. It's going to be an awesome show. I hope that we will see many of you out on the road.

Tonight I'm hosting my Community Group at my house. It should be fun. I got up this morning at 5:15 to make a pumpkin pie. We will see if it turns out okay. With this cold weather it sounded good to me. Yesterday, the girls and I did an online cooking show. We did it at Shelley's house because her kitchen is by far the most stocked and ready for something like that. We made Hello Dolly's and a Bacon/ Spinach Dip. We will let you know when it can be viewed. Fortunately I got to use the extras for my group tonight.

I don't get to go to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving this year. I'm kinda sad about it. We will be at my friend's house out in the country, but I've been really homesick lately. I think we are staying in Tenn for Christmas too. So, it really will be a TN Christmas this year for my family. Hope you hug those close to you very tightly this year. When we have loved ones, we need to hold on to them tight and let them know how much they mean to you.

Oooops, I gotta run. I've got a patient to attend to.

    See ya,

    Denise

    Hi friends,

Wow, I can't believe it's been 25 years since Mercy Ministries of America first started. We have been involved in this organization for over 15 years, and are continually amazed at how Nancy and her staff walk with so many young women in their darkest hour of need. It's amazing that over 25 years, more than 2000 young girls have come through the home and received the love and support they have needed free of charge, just because somebody cares about them and loves them. Nancy Alcorn, the founder and president of Mercy, along with her staff, are to be congratulated on this monumental anniversary. A few months back, I had the honor of hosting the 25th Anniversary Gala with Kevin Mawae, center for the Tennessee Titans, who is also a long time supporter of Mercy. It was a beautiful night to say the least. I can honestly say I don't know of a more sacrificial person than Nancy. She has been such a friend and true supporter of Point of Grace over the years, and for that we are grateful. I know deep down that Nancy has given up so much in her life to be there for this ministry, and I know that she considers the staff and girls her "family". I have often said that Mercy is not a job to Nancy, but Mercy is her life. I can't think of a better way to help the many hurting girls there are out there than the biblically based counseling that Mercy provides and Mercy has been upfront and unapologetic about their approach from day one. We have known Nancy for many years and are grateful for the girls that we have seen first hand get the help they so desparately need. On this their 25th anniversary, I just wanted to share these pics with you and let you know that you can help Mercy Ministries by becoming a partner with them. Please visit them at www.mercyministries.org to find out how you can get involved. The most important check I write every month is to Mercy Ministries of America, and every single month I receive a letter with yet another story of God's redemption and grace in the life of a young girl who is receiving counseling and care through Mercy. God bless you all and thanks for letting me share from my heart what so many of you have heard me share from stage over the past years.....

Congratulations to Nancy and her staff for a job well done, and I look forward to seeing the ways that God is going to continue to grow and bless your ministry in the years to come. It is my privilege to partner with you!

    Shelley Breen
